The park's proximity to East Devon's
stunning Heritage coastline is a major
advantage. As well as its great scenic
beauty this part of the coast is now
England's only coastal World Heritage
Site. It stretches from Exmouth in the
west to Studland, in Dorset in the east.
Rock formations from the Triassic, Jurassic
and Cretaceous geological ages are encompassed
in the site,
A Great Natural Wonder
This outstanding geology was the reason
for granting World Heritage Status,
ranking alongside the worlds other great
natural wonders. You will travel in
time through 185 million years of the
earth's history in 95 miles of coast.
